Biographical Info

The appears to be a grave in St James's with the inscription "Norman Blackmore Thomas Killed in Action Belgium 12th April 1918 Aged 36". It is unlikely that a soldier KIA in WW1 would have been returned home for burial and indeed the Burial book only shows the interment of his Wife.  . On the side away from the church is the inscription "and of Clementia, his wife Died 21st July 1919 aged 31" with "RIP" and "In Memory Of" at either end.  There is also a discrepancy with his age given by the CWGC as 43
